MASTER

"UBI system " Brain, is the active interface of the remote control system.
Connected to a GSM – GPRS communication network through radio waves, it receives node property data, obtains user input that affects that data, and retransmits it to the central source and users. It oversees all the operating logics and also the calculations of the algorithms realized for the piloting of the LED. is the "smart" switch that turns the system on and off through one of three systems:

1. Analog Twilight Sensor input
2. Contact switch called ON-OFF Switch
3. Astronomical clock (model in definition able to determine Day-to-day the exact time of sunset and sunrise and virtual midnight).

A backup accumulator in case of voltage, a relay and a pulse counter input (Contawatt) complete the equipment of the Master.

SLAVE

The Slave is the LED driver. Receives the commands from the Master, processes them and, depending on the results of the calculations of the internal algorithms, pilots the LED in PWM. Also the Slave can manage an Analog Twilight and also a P.I.R. control, a Radar or other external devices.
Safety checks are on the short circuit of the LED and on the maximum junction temperature which is measured on the LED heat sink. The control of the latter acts directly on the current, considerably prolonging the life of the LED itself.
